Sermon Series on Recovery in February Contact mary Boyce at mboyce@northsidebaptist.org or 926-3029 to share your testimony of recovery from harmful addictions such as overworking, lying, abuse, harmful relationships, procrastination, divorce, insecurities, gambling, over-eating, guilt, perfection, need to control, over-spending, alcohol, grief, sexual addictions, anger, drugs, fear, anxiety, hypochondria, etc. Souper Bowl of Caring: February 7 everyone, bring your dollars and change to drop in soup pots held by mission Friends, ras, and Gas. Preschool & children, bring your cans of soup to sunday school, and let’s see which class brings the most soup! all proceeds go to mission Columbia.

Upcoming Kids’ Mission Projects This morning, along with your bulletin, you will also be handed a popsicle stick with double sided tape attached. our ra and Ga missions kids would like to encourage you to return that stick with pocket change attached to the specified collection buckets. all donations will go toward providing a Build-a-Bear birthday present for each child at Connie maxwell Children’s Home. on January 31, ra boys will go to Finlay Park to pass out brown bags with sandwiches, socks, and the gospel to the homeless. on February 7, ra’s and Ga’s will be collecting for souper Bowl sunday in the morning service. Senior Adult Soup, Salad & Sandwich Fellowship: Tonight! seniors, join us for this annual fellowship at 5:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Bring soup, salad, sandwich, or a dessert to share, and canned foods to donate to mission Columbia. Southern Gospel Night: Tonight! Join us for a free quartet concert featuring Three:sixteen and The Called Quarted at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary. Call 926-3025 for more information. Are You In The Game? Game On: Opposition Engaged! mark your calendar for our Global missions Celebration Feb. 3–7, 2010! see your bulletin insert for a list of conference classes on saturday. GMC Participatory Prayer Experience northside is bringing a very special “Participatory Prayer experience” to our campus during the Global missions Celebration. It will be set up in the CFC Parlor January 22–February 11. We hope as you’re here participating in the GmC that you will make plans to spend some time alone with God in this incredible prayer room. you will be blessed. Veterans Group: January 31 The northside veterans Group will have their next meeting on 31 Jan. at 500 in the CFC. all veterans and spouses of veterans are invited and encouraged to attend. you do not have to be a member of northside to attend. We will be discussing a veterans celebration event to be held this summer. you won’t want to miss this meeting. If you are not a member of the veterans group, we encourage you to fill out a
Interpretive Movement Team We are preparing an interpretive movement team for something special coming up in the spring, and need everyone ages 10 and up who can participate. Call the music office at 926-3025, or note on the service form in your worship folder if you’d like to participate. Kid’s Ministry Needs Computers Children learn best when all five senses are used. northside Kids has begun a rotational Teaching model during the 9:15 hour. Kid’s have a blast as concepts and truths are reinforced in many different ways week after week. We have an immediate need for computers. Please contact David at 461-0079 to donate used computers or to help financially. Silver Ring Thing for Students: Feb. 21 Doors open at 5:15 p.m. Tickets ($5 in advance, $8 at the door) at www.silverringthing. com. Details: mdattoma@northsidebaptist.org. Mission Trip to San Francisco, CA a mission trip is being led this July 7-12 to san Francisco, California. The trip will include a number of ministry opportunities to partner with south Bay Church.
