Training is required to go on a deployment with any disaster relief team. The spring conference will be held at Concord baptist Church in anderson, sC. registration required by march 1. If you wish to stay overnight, you will need to make your own accommodations. Cost: $20 for returning volunteers; $25 for new volunteers. Business Meeting/Sunday Evening Service: March 7 We will have a church-wide business meeting at 5:30 p.m. on march 7, followed by a service at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary. We will have communion during the service. all members are requested to participate. Watchman on the Wall: Prayer Warriors Needed Prayer is one of the most important things we can do for our church. Prayer warriors are still needed to help cover Northside 24/7 in prayer. We have 22 slots open on various days and times. a guide is provided monthly to help as you pray. To sign up, stop by the prayer table after the service on sundays or call mary boyce at 926-3029. God is answering our prayers; join us and become a part of this important ministry! Thirsty Day Camp Staff Now hiring energetic, fun loving, Christ-following, believers for Thirsty spring break and summer Day camps! Interested applicants: please call David Ford at 461-0079. Due to the extended photo sessions over Thanksgiving and the holidays, the directory has been slightly delayed. The projected delivery date for the finished directories will be in late april. Life University: “Winning Walk” It’s not too late to join Pastor rocky at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays in the Fellowship Hall as he teaches the essentials needed in our Christian faith to have a winning walk. The bible describes the Christian life as a walk; a life long journey and yet many people take the journey without ever getting any directions. Billy Graham Crusade Reunion: Feb. 27 Columbia International university (CIu) is hosting the 60th reunion of the first billy Graham Crusade in Columbia, sC, on saturday, Feb. 27, from 10 a.m.–noon in their alumni building. C-3 Camp at Northside Northside is partnering with Chick-fil-a and Winshape Foundation to bring C-3 camp to Columbia! 50 volunteers are needed to serve the Camp Team that will bring one of the most amazing weeks that our city has ever seen! This is a huge outreach opportunity as the gospel will be presented daily! Call David Ford at 461-0079 to see where your gifts may be used best! Interpretive Movement Team We are preparing an interpretive movement team for something special coming up in the spring. We need everyone who can, ages 10 and up, to participate. Call the music office at 926-3025, or note on the service form in your worship folder if you’d like to participate. Kid’s Ministry Needs Computers Children learn best when all five senses are used. Northside Kids has begun a rotational teaching model during the 9:15 hour. Kid’s have a blast as concepts and truths are reinforced in many different ways week after week.
