Family Night Time Egg Hunt: March 26 Grab your flashlight, a basket, and your camera, and bring your kids to this fun adventure at Northside’s future home on Ginny lane @ I-20 & Hwy 378. arrive at 7 p.m. Invite your friends! The event is free, but you can help us support Daybreak Crisis Pregnancy Center by bringing a baby item (optional). Please contact beth with questions: 461-1820. Food from the Heart: March 27 Northside is partnering with Food from the Heart, shandon baptist Church, WlTX Television, and Harvest Hope Food bank to produce the largest food drive ever held in the midlands! on march 27, hundreds of people serving together will collect food at grocery stores across the greater Columbia area. everyone from ages 5 to 105 is encouraged to get involved. over 500 volunteers from Northside are needed to help make this outreach event a success as we help the hungry in our community. sign up in your lIFe Group. let’s show Columbia and lexington that during tough economic times, the church still answers the call to help those in need. all of the food donated will go directly to mission outreach programs and food banks. Call 461-0093 with questions. Easter 2010: Sunday, April 4 Join us easter sunday, april 4, as we celebrate our risen lord! We will have 3 times of Worship: 8 a.m. (Traditional), 9:15 a.m. (blended), and 10:45 a.m. (Contemporary). No adult lIFe Groups will meet that morning; however, our students, children and preschool will meet as usual, with additional care being provided at 8 a.m. for preschool and children. let’s meet our goal of 2,000 in worship! Watchman on the Wall: Prayer Warriors Needed Prayer is one of the most important things we can do for our church. Prayer warriors are still needed to help cover Northside 24/7 in prayer. We have 22 slots open on various days and times. a guide is provided monthly to help as you pray. To sign up, stop by the prayer table after the service on sundays or call mary boyce at 926-3029. God is answering our prayers; join us and become a part of this important ministry!

Preschool Ministry Training: Today! eTC (extended teaching care) training today immediately after 10:45 service for everyone who serves with preschoolers or is considering serving in the preschool area. Disaster Relief Training Conf.: March 5–6 The Disaster relief Training Conference is for persons willing to give of their time and energy to help others that are in crisis. you will learn how to respond to people in a time of crisis. your response will allow others to see Jesus in you through your loving response to their needs. Training is required to go on a deployment with any disaster relief team. The spring conference will be held at Concord baptist Church in anderson, sC. registration required by march 1. If you wish to stay overnight, you will need to make your own accommodations. Cost: $20 for returning volunteers; $25 for new volunteers. Please join us next sunday, march 7, immediately following the morning services for our saddle ridge ranch vbs kick off luncheon. you must rsvP for lunch to lford@ northsidebaptist.org or 461-1823 no later than Thursday, march 4. Childcare provided by rsvP only. Northside Briefing/Sunday Evening Worship Service: March 7 We will have a church-wide briefing at 5:30 p.m. on march 7, followed by a service at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary. We will have communion during the service. all members are requested to participate. Preschool Pajama Day: March 14 Come to sunday school in your pajamas at 9:15! remember to turn your clocks ahead an hour. We lose an hour of sleep, but don’t worry; just bring your preschoolers in their favorite PJ’s! Easter Lilies reserve a beautiful easter lily ($12 each) in honor/ memory of a loved one. Payment must be received at time of order. order deadline is monday, march 15, at noon. Thirsty Day Camp Staff Now hiring energetic, fun loving, Christ-following, believers for Thirsty spring break and summer Day camps! Interested applicants: please call David Ford at 461-0079. Praise Ringers The Praise ringers need someone to play the low bells in our handbell choir. If you are interested, please contact Kari bryant at 984-5189 or call the music office. We Need Your Smiling Face! First Impressions is our welcoming ministry here at Northside. We need your smiling face! Would you be willing to help serve with us as a parking lot greeter? Please call 796-9786 or email Doug mathis at dmathis@northsidebaptist.org. C-3 Camp at Northside Northside is partnering with Chick-fil-a and Winshape Foundation to bring C-3 camp to Columbia! 50 volunteers are needed to serve the Camp Team that will bring one of the most amazing weeks that our city has ever seen! This is a huge outreach opportunity as the gospel will be presented daily! Call David at 461-0079 to see where your gifts may be used best! Interpretive Movement Team We are preparing an interpretive movement team for something special coming up in the spring. We need everyone who can, ages 10 and up, to participate.
