assistants at the 10:45 worship hour. The time of ministry begins at 10:25 and ends at 11:15 on the mornings of scheduled baptisms. service is a month of sundays at a time. Laps for the Lord Recently, our RAs and GAs participated in “laps for the lord,” a children’s missions project for the Annie Armstrong easter offering. Because of your support, they raised $558.10! Praise God! Beth Moore Simulcast: April 24 ladies, kiss your insecurities goodbye and discover the joy of living with confidence. For over a decade, Beth has touched the hearts of women worldwide—offering freedom, deliverance, and depth through her powerful teaching of God’s Word. In her new message, So Long Insecurity, Beth is sure to make yet another remarkable impact on women today and for generations to come as she exposes the lies that have debilitated women for ages. Senior Adult Day: Sunday, May 2 “Being Christ to the World: Ministering to Others” seniors, plan to join us worship at 9:15 and a special luncheon in honor of you at noon in the CFC Fellowship Hall. Tickets ($4) available in lIFe Groups or at the church office during normal business hours. (Advance ticket purchase required. Deadline to purchase tickets is Wednesday, April 28.) Cap off the day with a spring Concert by our silver saints singers in the sanctuary at 6 p.m. For more info, please call 796-9786. Munchies for Mom: May 9 Preschoolers and children, bring your mother to the Prayer garden for a special picture and marvelous munchies on mother’s Day. Children’s Ministry Bake Sale: Today! Bring your tastebuds and your pocket change to our second Children’s ministry Bake sale in the CFC lobby today! All proceeds go toward children’s summer camp scholarships! XYZ: April 20, 10:30 a.m. Program: shirley Reames will be bringing “The story of the little Trees.” You don’t want to miss this inspiring story with scripture and music. soloists will be Darlene Cox, Jo Ann Frierson, and David schrodt. menu: Chicken with mushroom soup, yellow rice, green beans, bread, beverage, dessert. Cost: $4. Library Book Sale through April 25 The sale would be open sundays 8:30–9 a.m. and 12–12:30 p.m.; Wednesdays 5:30–6:15 p.m. Donations will be accepted for the purchase of the books, and all proceeds go to add new books to the library. Birthday Drop-in for Pastor Rocky: April 25 Pastor Rocky’s turning 50! The church family is invited to a birthday drop-in next sunday afternoon, April 25, from 4:30–6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall (CFC 140). Take a few minutes to join us for cake and ice cream and bestow your birthday blessings on our pastor. No gifts, please. (If you’d like to bring a churn of homemade ice cream, please call mary Boyce @ 926-3029.) KidShape Choir & Missions: Next Sunday Join us next sunday, April 25, at 6 p.m. for our spring missions ceremony and the Kidshape Choir presentation of GPs: God’s Plan of salvation. Legendary Journey A rotational teaching model for kids during the 9:15 hour is now choosing the team for our next Rotation: The life of Ruth: loyal living, will be taught through Bible Knowledge, Computer, math, media Production, movie, and Puppets. If you are interested in a six week commitment in one of these areas please contact David at 461-0079 today! Baptism Assistants Needed Join other member couples to serve as baptistery
student fundraiser and bring your food to the meeting! Guatemala trip is sept. 5 -12. C-3 Camp at Northside Northside is partnering with Chick-fil-A and Winshape Foundation to bring C-3 camp to Columbia! 50 volunteers are needed to serve the Camp Team that will bring one of the most amazing weeks that our city has ever seen! This is a huge outreach opportunity as the gospel will be presented daily! Call David (461-0079) to see where your gifts may be used best! Watchman on the Wall Praying is one of the most important things we can do for Northside. Warriors are still needed to help cover Ns 24/7 in prayer. We have 23 slots open at various times. A monthly guide is provided to help as you pray. To sign up, stop by the prayer table after the sunday service or call mary (926-3029). God is answering our prayers; join us and become a part of this important ministry! Musicians Needed The Praise Band is in need of those who play drums, keyboard, bass guitar, electric guitar and acoustic guitar.
