Wednesday Nights this Summer We know you are busy during the summer, so in an effort to be good stewards of time and money, we have discontinued Wednesday night dinner and activities this summer. our last meal/programming on Wednesday nights this spring will be may 26. With everyone’s busy schedules, we know it is hard to make weekly commitments. Be sure to check out the summer calendar for special events including vacation Bible school, Building 429 in concert, the uso party, and Kid’s Day. Photo Support Ministry Interest Meeting: May 26 Do you enjoy taking photographs? are interested in serving Northside by photographing events, trips, programs, etc.? Join us for an interest meeting for the new Photo support ministry on Wednesday, may 26, from 5– p.m. in the Parlor. Prayer Points In our pre-service slides, we are beginning to put special prayer needs of our church. When you see this symbol , please take a moment and pray for the need shown on the screen. Legendary Journey a rotational teaching model for kids during the 9:15 hour is now choosing the team for our next Rotation. The life of Ruth: loyal living, will be taught through Bible Knowledge, Computer, math, media Production, movie, and Puppets. If you are interested in a six week commitment in one of these areas please contact David at 461-0079 today! Baptism Assistants Needed Join other member couples to serve as baptistery assistants at the 10:45 worship hour. The time of ministry begins at 10:25 and ends at 11:15 on the mornings of scheduled baptisms. service is a month of sundays at a time. We allow for and schedule substitutions for sundays when you will not be in attendance. Be blessed by the testimonies of new believers as you minister to them! Pianos for Sale We have 6 pianos for sale at $450 each. Buyers must come pick up themselves, and they are sold as is. Interested? Student Lunch Fundraiser: Today! Plan to come enjoy an awesome lunch and support our student ministry all at the same time! Join us immediately following the 10:45 worship service for grilled chicken, baked potatoes and salad. The cost is $7.50 for adults, $4.00 for children and $35.00 family max. Proceeds will go towards uNITe 2010 summer camp. Thank you so much for your support! Hope to see you there! Mission Guatemala Interest Meeting: Today! Join us in the Parlor right after the 10:45 service. If you’d like to get lunch, please do so at the student fundraiser and bring your food to the meeting! Guatemala trip is sept. 5–12. Jesus Saves! Worship Concert: Tonight! Don’t miss this dynamic night of engaging worship. Jesus Saves! is a contemporary worship set presented by the combined efforts of the celebration choir, orchestra, praise band and praise singers. Please take some to give out to your friends, coworkers, and neighbors! XYZ: May 18, 10:30 a.m. Program: From Consultants in Gastroenterology, Dr. march seabrook will give a medical talk for seniors on several topics. menu: Taco casserole, fruit salad, bread, beverage, dessert. Cost: $4. Friend Day 2010: Sunday, May 23 “Casting the Net” your friends need Jesus. Will you bring them on Friend Day? We will have a special guest speaker, Tony Nolan, recent Tour Pastor and Gospel Communicator for Winter Jam. Free gift bag for visiting friends! Games Needed for Kids’ Ministry our Children’s ministry is in need of board games, card games, dominoes, and playground balls for this summer’s camps and activities. Thank you to everyone who helped to make the missions Golf Tournament a success! Because of your support $4,434.00 was raised to help support the mission teams and missions projects here at Northside as the gospel is shared with a lost world!

C-3 Camp at Northside Northside is partnering with Chick-fil-a and Winshape Foundation to bring C-3 camp to Columbia! 50 volunteers are needed to serve the Camp Team that will bring one of the most amazing weeks that our city has ever seen! This is a huge outreach opportunity as the gospel will be presented daily! Call David (461-0079) to see where your gifts may be used best! Musicians Needed The Praise Band is in need of those who play drums, keyboard, bass guitar, electric guitar and acoustic guitar. Watchman on the Wall Praying is one of the most important things we can do for Northside. Warriors are still needed to help cover Ns 24/7 in prayer.
