Baptism Assistants Needed Join other member couples to serve as baptistery assistants at the 10:45 worship hour. The time of ministry begins at 10:25 and ends at 11:15 on the mornings of scheduled baptisms. service is a month of sundays at a time. We allow for and schedule substitutions for sundays when you will not be in attendance. Be blessed by the testimonies of new believers as you minister to them! C-3 Camp at Northside Northside is partnering with Chick-fila and Winshape Foundation to bring C-3 camp to Columbia! 50 volunteers are needed to serve the Camp Team that will bring one of the most amazing weeks that our city has ever seen! 2010 Church Directories are Here! If you had your picture taken for the new church directory, you can pick up your free copy of the directory in the hallway of the main Building. For your convenience and for tracking purposes, each directory is labeled (alphabetically). Please take the one with your name/family name. special thanks to Darlene Cox and shirley Reames for all of their hard work to make this project a success! Deacon Nomination Process It’s time to begin the deacon nomination process for the 2010-2011 year. Nomination forms will be available June 6–20, from your deacon during the lIFe Groups times and also in other prominent places around the church. Please make sure you read the guidelines and qualifications for a deacon before submitting a name(s). Deadline for nominations is June 20. Games Needed for Kids’ Ministry our Children’s ministry is in need of board games, card games, dominoes, and playground balls for this summer’s camps and activities. Please bring donated items to the Children’s ministry offices or contact David at 461-0079. Wednesday Nights this Summer In an effort to be good stewards of time and money, we have discontinued Wednesday night dinner and activities this summer. our last meal/programming on Wednesday nights this spring was may 26. With everyone’s busy schedules, we know it is hard to make weekly commitments. Be sure to check out the summer calendar for special events including vacation Bible school, Building 429 in concert, the uso party, and Kid’s Day. Prayer Points In our pre-service slides, we are beginning to put special prayer needs of our
electric guitar and acoustic guitar. If you would like more information about auditioning for this ministry, please contact the music office at 926.3025 or sign up at www.northsidebaptist.org/ worship-arts. Watchman on the Wall Praying is one of the most important things we can do for Northside. Warriors are still needed to help cover Ns 24/7 in prayer. We have 28 slots open at various times. a monthly guide is provided to help as you pray. To sign up, stop by the prayer table after the sunday service or call mary (926-3029). God is answering our prayers; join us and become a part of this important ministry! ACS Programs for Cancer Patients The american Cancer society has several free programs to help and encourage cancer patients. one in particular is called look Good and Feel Better. This free program provides women free health and beauty care, free make-up, etc. from trained cosmetologists. If you are interested in this program you can call the american Cancer society at 1-800-227-2345 and ask for the look Good and Feel Better program. They will connect you with someone in the Columbia area.
