TIME OF PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING
(5 MINUTES)
An essential part of relationship with God is the daily (or regular) time of worship and praise. After all, our primary purpose is to praise and worship the Father.
Pause and reflect on the words below to Revelation Song as you praise and worship God.
TIME OF CONFESSION AND REPENTANCE
(5 MINUTES)
After you have spent time in genuine praise and worship, you are ready to enter a period of confession and cleansing. Consistent confession is the primary way we receive God s forgiveness and maintain a Spirit-filled life.
Worthy is the, Lamb who was slain; Holy, Holy is He Sing a new song, to Him who sits on, Heaven s mercy seat Holy, Holy, Holy; is the Lord God Almighty Who was, and is, and is to come. If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; but God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer. Psalm 66:18-19 Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the LORD and you forgave the guilt of my sin. Psalm 32:5
Ask the Spirit to search your heart and reveal any areas of unconfessed sin. Acknowledge these to the Lord, turn from them, and thank Him for His forgiveness.
TIME OF MEDITATION
(4 MINUTES)
In its essence, meditation is simply the practice of listening to God s voice as He speaks through His Word and prayer; ask God to speak to your heart.
Within your temple, O God, we meditate on your unfailing love. Like your name, O God, your praise reaches to the ends of the earth; Your right hand is filled with righteousness. Psalm 48:9-10
Sit quietly and wait for God to speak. Remember, our God is a personal God and He speaks to His children.
SPECIFIC REQUESTS FOR OUR CHURCH

Northside. Father God, I pray that You would continue to use Mike and Sarah to do ministry to the students of Northside. God, I praise you for providing Mike s dad with the job he so desperately wanted, thank You for answering our prayers! Lord be with them as they do Your work, In Jesus name!
David (Ford), Lori, Jeffrey, Megan, Cassidy, Sydney, Aimee, and Eric. Heavenly Father, we praise You because You are the maker and sustainer of relationships. You have shown us through Your Word how to order our steps, You have promised to keep us. In You we find our safety and security. In You we discover extravagant love! Guide the Ford family, Father, as they seek to keep You first in all they do. Direct their thoughts and actions as they look for ways to encourage and care about each other and to live by example the type of relationship that You desire to have with Your Bride. Let their children find comfort and security in the love and companionship that David and Lori model daily for them. Convict them when they act rashly and fail to show grace. Help them not miss any teachable moment. Help them, Father to leave a legacy in their children that You will be proud of and that will continue for generations to come! Father we know that You are the ultimate provider and You know what we have need of before we even ask, but I do ask that You would provide wisdom and direction in the Ford Family s every day stewardship decisions of time, talent, and treasures. Bring each member of David and Lori s family to a point where there is a visible testimony showing a heart focused on You. Doug, Sheila and Kayla. Lord, I pray that Doug would daily deny himself, take up his cross, and follow you. I pray that he would worship and serve You in a way that brings you glory and honor. I pray that you would bless him, his family, and his ministry. Please continue to move supernaturally in all areas of his life. God, please bless Sheila and continue to transform her into the image of Christ. I pray that you would use her in a mighty way and that her life would be a strong testimony to your love and grace. Lord, please bless Kayla and draw her close to You. Give her a heart after You and help her to see her need for a Savior.

Rocky, Sherrie, Mary Beth, Joshua, Matthew and Jonathan & Christy. Fill Rocky with your spirit as he seeks to lead your church. Give him the voice of a prophet as he preaches, the heart of a shepherd as he ministers, and the wisdom of Solomon as he leads and makes decisions. Use him to challenge us to be the church you want us to be. Protect him from the attack of the enemy. Don t let him grow weary in well doing. Bless Sherrie as she walks hand in hand with our Pastor. Bless their marriage and help their love and devotion be an example to our church. Guide and protect each of their children. Give them a heart for you Lord. Specifically be with Joshua as he finishes up his final year of High School and Mary Beth as she works to find her niche at college. David (Schrodt), Katy, Josiah, Jacob, Callie, and Caleb. Lord, I pray that David would find wisdom and gain understanding (Proverbs 3:13). I pray that Your friendly counsel will be over his house (Job 29:4). Fill him with Your Spirit and use him in such a way as to bring glory to Your name. I pray that David would love Katy as Christ loves His church and that Katy would respect David and be the helpmeet for him that You have called her to be. Please give David and Katy wisdom as they raise their children and help them to be living examples of God s love to them. Help them to discern right from wrong and always protect them from the enemy. Father, be with Katy s sister, Kristen as she is getting married to Chris on the 13th. Bless their wedding and may Your light shine down on them. I ask that you would bless their marriage and may they always keep You first in their lives. Lord, I pray for David s sister, Debbie, that she would no longer be deceived by the devil and that her heart would soften to Your truth. I ask that You would give David wisdom and clear direction as he plans the services and shepherds those under his care. Scott, Tracey, Garrett, and Jessica . Lord I pray for Scott in his daily ministries at Northside. I pray for him as he sets goals with our staff. Give him wisdom in decisions, in encouraging, and in ministering to each. Give him wisdom and understanding as he meets with individual members and as he prepares and studies for his weekly LIFE Group meeting. Guide him in his leadership role within our Future Development projects and as he works with the Future Development Team during this critical ground breaking time at our new location. Be with him as we continue to refine the budget for the relocation project. Lord I pray that Scott will be salt and light to all the subcontractors who will be working at the property within these coming months. I pray that he will share the Truth of God s love within every interaction and encounter. Steve, Karen, Sarah, David, Kevin, Michael,Jennifer & Nathan. I pray that Steve would be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding and that he would walk in a manner worthy of the Lord and that he would please You in all respects. Help him to bear fruit in every good work. I pray that Steve will increase in his knowledge of You. I pray that Steve s children would be champions for Christ. That he and Karen would grow closer to one another and closer to You. Mike and Sarah Lord God, I pray for Mike and Sarah. Lord I Pray that their marriage would abound in love more and more as they grow closer together! Lord, I pray for Mike as He leads our student ministry- I pray that You would give him wisdom and guidance, and that You would protect him from the enemy! I pray that he would be the leader, and husband that You have called him to be. I pray that they would both be in Your Word, seeking Your truth, and will for their lives here at
Beth, William, Carson, Jackson and Anderson. Lord, I pray that You would equip and bless Beth as she leads our preschool ministry. Give her wisdom, insight, and peace as she cares for her family. Help her to minister to the preschool teachers, volunteers, and parents. Bless William in his work. Give Carson wisdom concerning college and scholarship applications. Show your favor and bless this process. Give Carson, Jackson and Anderson an understanding of Your Word that would create in each of them a servants heart and a hunger to know You more. Lord, may they grow as Jesus grew in wisdom, stature, and favor with men.

PRAY FOR OUR RELOCATION Lord, as we break ground at our new location, help us to move forward as one body, united in purpose. Give us a vision of what You have planned for us as we take the land for Your glory. Guide our architect, builder and consultant as we move forward with our design and construction. Help us to be a witness to every person who works on our project. Lord, I pray that many workers will come to know You as their Savior and Lord as we have the opportunity to minister and witness to them. Lord I pray that we ll receive the approval from Lexington for the reader board on the property which will allow us to promote upcoming events so that many will hear the gospel. Lord, provide us with a buyer for our existing property. PRAY THAT WE WILL BECOME A WORSHIPPING CHURCH 2 Corinthians 3:17 says where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Lord God, I pray that everyone will worship freely during our services. That as Your Spirit moves among us, we will have the freedom to respond. Your Word says in Psalm 9:2 I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name. Lord help me to approach worship with joy and give me a desire to sing praises to Your name. Father, I pray for those in the Celebration Choir and Praise Band that they will grow in holiness so that each week they are prepared to lead people into the very throne room of God . I pray that the music done each Sunday (in both services) will bring glory to You and edify the church. I pray that genuine, heartfelt worship will take place. Jesus, I pray that Northside will become a HOUSE OF PRAYER . That many in our church would be humbled to fall on their faces before you. I pray that those who come searching will see our passionate love for Jesus by our corporate worship.

Rehearse daily, in each child s mind, the truths that have been taught, and cause them to seek You above all else! Father we pray even now for our upcoming VBS (June 2125); that you are preparing the children s hearts so that they will receive You as their Savior. Please bring the workers needed to make this week successful. I pray also for the C3 camp this summer. That many will enroll and that You will work in mighty ways to change lives. STUDENT MINISTRY - Heavenly Father, I pray for our students of Northside, and the Midlands as a whole. God, I pray, that a spirit of unity would rise up amongst students across this area who desire to make a difference for Your name in their schools, homes, and communities. I pray that Northside would be a place where students come, learn the Word of God, and apply it to their lives. Father God, I pray for the students who came to the Silver Ring Thing who made commitments of purity centered in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Father God, I pray that You would keep them strong, that they would be faithful to You, and their commitment. Lord, I pray for the upcoming High School Girls and Guy s retreat that You would hand pick students to go on these trips who desire to grow closer in their walk with You, and learn their Bible and the power of it in their life. Lord, I pray for the upcoming spring break trips- both for the high school, and the middle school- God, I pray that lives would be changed through service, and ministry that week. We pray today for UNITE 2010 that You would prick the hearts of students to sign up, and that lives would be changed that week for the glory of Your Name!! I pray for Mike, and his leadership team, that You would bring among them a sense of unity as they follow the vision You have laid on their hearts. Thank you Lord, You are so amazing, and incredible!! Thank you for loving us!
COLLEGE MINISTRY Father, we continue to pray for students in our colleges. I ask that You give Northside a plan to connect the thousands of college students in the Midlands with the life changing message of Jesus Christ. Raise up leaders to work in our College ministry. Father I pray for our upcoming Beach Reach trip March 6-12. I pray that many of our college students would plan to go and that even now, You are working in the hearts and lives of those with whom our students will share the Gospel. ADULT MINISTRY / LIFEGROUPS Lord, we give praise for new believers who desire to worship You and experience genuine community through our LIFE Group ministry. I pray that our LIFE Groups would develop a passion for reaching the lost. That every LIFE Group would see new believers attending. That we will hunger for the Word of God. I pray that the teachers would teach beyond their own power, in the power of the Holy Spirit. I pray that each LIFE Group would develop a plan to be on mission with God in their Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and to the very ends of the earth. I pray that You would raise up leaders in every LIFE Group to lead this missions effort. I pray that LIFE Group members would invite their unchurched friends and neighbors to High Attendance Day on May 23. Lord help our LIFE Groups be a place where we put into practice the one anothers of scripture. Help us to truly love one another, encourage one another, bear one another s burdens... WOMEN S MINISTRY Father, empower the ladies who teach Bible studies and Life U classes to edify the saints and reach out to other women. I pray for the Anne Graham Lotz women s event in Greenville, SC, March 19-20, Just Give Me Jesus, that it will be well attended and lives will be changed.
PRAY FOR OUR MINISTRIES TO PEOPLE IN ALL AGES AND STAGES OF LIFE
PRESCHOOL MINISTRY We praise you Lord for Your continued blessings and provisions. Thank you Lord for our faithful and loving leadership. Bless them for their service to You and to our families. Thank You for the volunteers and resources that you continue to provide. We pray that You would speak to the heart of Your people and tender their hearts to the needs of Your most precious children. Thank You that all of these who serve in preschool ministry provide a place where children are loved, and feel safe, and accepted. We pray that You would bless the night time egg hunt with the volunteers and resources needed and that there would be a great response from our community. We pray that this would be a great night of fellowship and fun for families and that they would see You in each of us. We pray that those who are looking for a church home would feel welcomed and Lord that You would draw them to Yourself. Lord help us to continue to glorify You in our service and teaching of Your children. Help us to partner with parents as we teach Biblical truths that will build a strong foundation.
CHILDREN S MINISTRY I praise you Father, for Your abundant provision of talented teachers for our first Rotation on God s Work in Progress! Thank You for the excitement that is seen on children s faces each week, and for the positive testimonies that have been heard in the feedback from parents. I thank You for the teachers that You are preparing now for our next rotation on the life of Joshua, as we study the truth that Character Counts. I pray that You bind Satan from the attacks that he places each family on Sunday mornings in an attempt to keep them from the fellowship only found among the body of believers. I pray that You would continue to build the members of Northside into a true family of faith that sees and meets needs through the power and direction of Your Holy Spirit. I pray for each Shepherd and Teacher that will minister to a child through Northside, that You would keep hearts humble, ears open, and
Your Word fresh so that it may be relayed to these young ears in
MUSIC MINISTRY Lord, I pray that you would move in people s hearts to serve in the choir and orchestra so that it can grow and be a blessing to the congregation and glorify You. Help people find ways to get plugged in and serve with their God given talents. Lord, I pray that the upcoming Worship Concert in May (titled Jesus Saves) will be a wonderful night where believers can come together to exalt You and rejoice in Your great salvation! I pray also that your Holy Spirit will draw unbelievers in as the members of our church invite them. May they have an incredible encounter with You and recognize their need for a savior. May it also be a time of renewal and refreshing that will bring Godly conviction to us so that we might be on mission for Christ! Bless everyone involved in the music ministry and all the time they put in to making each Sunday a beautiful time of worship! May we as the church truly grasp what it means to worship You in spirit and in truth. Lord, as those who lead the rest of the congregation before Your throne, may they lead with integrity and character. Help them to use their talents to honor You and to give You their very best. May they never offer to You anything that cost them nothing (2 Samuel 24:24).
RECREATION MINSTRY God, I thank You for all You did during the Upward Basketball & Cheerleading leagues that just completed. I pray that You would continue to work in the lives of those that were a part especially those that don t know Jesus as Lord and Savior. As the Upward Soccer Leagues begin, I ask that You will move in a mighty way to bring those who need You. Bring the needed volunteers so that we will have men and women of Northside to lead and love these children. Bless everyone involved so that Your name would be lifted up and lives would be changed. FIRST IMPRESSIONS MINISTRY God, I thank you for the volunteers that are serving in the first impressions ministry. Lord, I pray that visitors to our church will see the love and grace of Christ and feel welcomed and appreciated. I pray that our church will be united in being part of welcoming those visiting our church and that many will find their place of service in the first impressions ministry. PRAYER MINISTRY Father, I pray that we will fill the remaining slots on the Wall . Give us a heart for prayer. I pray that others will join us for our time of pre-service prayer on Sunday mornings as we pray over the sanctuary and sprung inviting the Holy Spirit to fall on us. I also ask that You would raise up Intercessory Prayer Room warriors as we cover our members in prayer according to their needs.
Father, I pray for: Harvest Hope Food Bank as they seek to help those in need of food. Food From the Heart Saturday, March 27, that many members will be involved in the collection and sorting. HIS International Anne & Aki Nakamura as they minister to international students.
SOUTH CAROLINA & UNITED STATES
Lord, we pray that you will be with our sister churches, Brookland Baptist in West Columbia and Taylors First Baptist in Greer. Mold them into churches you can bless. I pray for the Appalachia Mission Team as they prepare for their trip, June 5-12 and for the churches they will be partnering with: New Heights, Pathfork, Victory and New Beginnings Baptist Churches. Lord be with Johnny Hunt as he leads the Southern Baptist Convention as we prepare for our annual meeting in June. Give him wisdom as he encourages us to fulfill the Great Commission. Be with the North American Mission Board as they search for a new president.
PRAY FOR THE FOLLOWING SPECIFIC NEEDS REGARDING OUR CHURCH:
Father, I pray that You will make us a church of tithers and givers so that we can be under Your blessing and not Your curse. Please help those who are in financial bondage to be set free by our Financial Peace ministry as they learn to apply biblical principles to their lives. Lord, I pray that you would move among our people during our new sermon series on Recovery and break whatever chains of bondage may be in their lives. I pray for unity and clear purpose within our Northside family of faith, that in every step, ultimately You will be glorified and that Your will be done.
UTTERMOST PARTS
Lord, thank you for the godly leadership of Jerry Rankin at the International Mission Board. Bless him as he prepares for retirement and lead us to the man you have prepared to take his place. South Asia Awadhi people Lord, I pray that there will be a great harvest among this people group. Please be with Devaraju, a national pastor, as he works with the team to plant churches to reach the Awadhi people. I pray for those in our church who will be going on the mission trip (March 11-20). Prepare their hearts and minds, even now, for what You have in store for them as they share the Gospel. Moldova Father, I pray that You will raise up and guide those You re calling to go on this trip to reach the many in bondage to religion in this country but who do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ. I pray for Pastor Victor Svet in Telenesti and the ministry that is going on in Moldova. South Carolina Disaster Relief Medical Emergency team in Haiti, that lives will be saved both physically and spiritually.
PRAY FOR MISSIONS / EVANGELISM
Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
I praise You for the missionaries, speakers and the commitments made during our Global Missions Celebration! Empower each person to get in the game. I pray for the leaders in each LIFE Group department that You would empower them to lead their departments in implementing a mission playbook or strategy that will guide them to actively be on mission as a department in 2010. I pray for the Share Jesus Without Fear classes that have just begun that You will lead the teams to those who need to hear the gospel.

Father, as we prepare for our Easter Services, I pray that each of us would bring at least one unchurched friend so that we will have over 2000 in attendance. I pray that many would come to Christ, and that God would use the series that Pastor Rocky begins that morning to bring many into the Kingdom. I pray for our one day Revival with Tony Nolan on May 23. Lord, even now start preparing Tony to proclaim the Good News with power. I pray that we will be burdened enough to bring our lost friends, family members, coworkers, and neighbors. That we will have at least 1500 in attendance on Sunday morning and 700 on Sunday evening and more than 50 saved and baptized in this one day event.

TIME OF PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING

An essential part of relationship with God is the daily (or regular) time of worship and praise. After all, our primary purpose is to praise and worship the Father.

TIME OF CONFESSION AND REPENTANCE
(5 MINUTES)
After you have spent time in genuine praise and worship, you are ready to enter a period of confession and cleansing. Consistent confession is the primary way we receive God s forgiveness and maintain a Spirit-filled life.

If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; but God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer. TIME OF MEDITATION

In its essence, meditation is simply the practice of listening to God s voice as He speaks through His Word and prayer; ask God to speak to your heart.

Sit quietly and wait for God to speak. Remember, our God is a personal God and He speaks to His children.

Northside. Father God, I pray that You would continue to use Mike and Sarah to do ministry to the students of Northside. God, I praise you for providing Mike s dad with the job he so desperately wanted, thank You for answering our prayers! Lord be with them as they do Your work, In Jesus name!
David (Ford), Lori, Jeffrey, Megan, Cassidy, Sydney, Aimee, and Eric. Heavenly Father, we praise You because You are the maker and sustainer of relationships. You have shown us through Your Word how to order our steps, You have promised to keep us. In You we find our safety and security. In You we discover extravagant love! Guide the Ford family, Father, as they seek to keep You first in all they do. Direct their thoughts and actions as they look for ways to encourage and care about each other and to live by example the type of relationship that You desire to have with Your Bride. Let their children find comfort and security in the love and companionship that David and Lori model daily for them. Convict them when they act rashly and fail to show grace. Help them not miss any teachable moment. Help them, Father to leave a legacy in their children that You will be proud of and that will continue for generations to come! Father we know that You are the ultimate provider and You know what we have need of before we even ask, but I do ask that You would provide wisdom and direction in the Ford Family s every day stewardship decisions of time, talent, and treasures. Bring each member of David and Lori s family to a point where there is a visible testimony showing a heart focused on You. Doug, Sheila and Kayla. Lord, I pray that Doug would daily deny himself, take up his cross, and follow you. I pray that he would worship and serve You in a way that brings you glory and honor. I pray that you would bless him, his family, and his ministry. Please continue to move supernaturally in all areas of his life. God, please bless Sheila and continue to transform her into the image of Christ. I pray that you would use her in a mighty way and that her life would be a strong testimony to your love and grace. Lord, please bless Kayla and draw her close to You. Give her a heart after You and help her to see her need for a Savior.

Give him the voice of a prophet as he preaches, the heart of a shepherd as he ministers, and the wisdom of Solomon as he leads and makes decisions. Use him to challenge us to be the church you want us to be. Protect him from the attack of the enemy. Don t let him grow weary in well doing. Bless Sherrie as she walks hand in hand with our Pastor. Bless their marriage and help their love and devotion be an example to our church. Guide and protect each of their children. Give them a heart for you Lord. Specifically be with Joshua as he finishes up his final year of High School and Mary Beth as she works to find her niche at college. David (Schrodt), Katy, Josiah, Jacob, Callie, and Caleb. Lord, I pray that David would find wisdom and gain understanding (Proverbs 3:13). I pray that Your friendly counsel will be over his house (Job 29:4). Fill him with Your Spirit and use him in such a way as to bring glory to Your name. I pray that David would love Katy as Christ loves His church and that Katy would respect David and be the helpmeet for him that You have called her to be. Please give David and Katy wisdom as they raise their children and help them to be living examples of God s love to them. Help them to discern right from wrong and always protect them from the enemy. Father, be with Katy s sister, Kristen as she is getting married to Chris on the 13th. Bless their wedding and may Your light shine down on them. I ask that you would bless their marriage and may they always keep You first in their lives. Lord, I pray for David s sister, Debbie, that she would no longer be deceived by the devil and that her heart would soften to Your truth. I ask that You would give David wisdom and clear direction as he plans the services and shepherds those under his care. Scott, Tracey, Garrett, and Jessica . Lord I pray for Scott in his daily ministries at Northside. I pray for him as he sets goals with our staff. Give him wisdom in decisions, in encouraging, and in ministering to each. Give him wisdom and understanding as he meets with individual members and as he prepares and studies for his weekly LIFE Group meeting. Guide him in his leadership role within our Future Development projects and as he works with the Future Development Team during this critical ground breaking time at our new location. Be with him as we continue to refine the budget for the relocation project. Lord I pray that Scott will be salt and light to all the subcontractors who will be working at the property within these coming months. I pray that he will share the Truth of God s love within every interaction and encounter. Steve, Karen, Sarah, David, Kevin, Michael,Jennifer & Nathan. I pray that Steve would be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding and that he would walk in a manner worthy of the Lord and that he would please You in all respects. Help him to bear fruit in every good work. I pray that Steve will increase in his knowledge of You. I pray that Steve s children would be champions for Christ. That he and Karen would grow closer to one another and closer to You. Mike and Sarah Lord God, I pray for Mike and Sarah. Lord I Pray that their marriage would abound in love more and more as they grow closer together! Lord, I pray for Mike as He leads our student ministry- I pray that You would give him wisdom and guidance, and that You would protect him from the enemy! I pray that he would be the leader, and husband that You have called him to be. I pray that they would both be in Your Word, seeking Your truth, and will for their lives here at
Beth, William, Carson, Jackson and Anderson. Lord, I pray that You would equip and bless Beth as she leads our preschool ministry. Give her wisdom, insight, and peace as she cares for her family. Help her to minister to the preschool teachers, volunteers, and parents. Bless William in his work. Give Carson wisdom concerning college and scholarship applications. Show your favor and bless this process. Give Carson, Jackson and Anderson an understanding of Your Word that would create in each of them a servants heart and a hunger to know You more. Lord, may they grow as Jesus grew in wisdom, stature, and favor with men.

PRAY FOR OUR RELOCATION Lord, as we break ground at our new location, help us to move forward as one body, united in purpose. Give us a vision of what You have planned for us as we take the land for Your glory. Guide our architect, builder and consultant as we move forward with our design and construction. Help us to be a witness to every person who works on our project. Lord, I pray that many workers will come to know You as their Savior and Lord as we have the opportunity to minister and witness to them. Lord I pray that we ll receive the approval from Lexington for the reader board on the property which will allow us to promote upcoming events so that many will hear the gospel. Lord, provide us with a buyer for our existing property. PRAY THAT WE WILL BECOME A WORSHIPPING CHURCH 2 Corinthians 3:17 says where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Lord God, I pray that everyone will worship freely during our services. That as Your Spirit moves among us, we will have the freedom to respond. Your Word says in Psalm 9:2 I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name. Lord help me to approach worship with joy and give me a desire to sing praises to Your name. Father, I pray for those in the Celebration Choir and Praise Band that they will grow in holiness so that each week they are prepared to lead people into the very throne room of God . I pray that the music done each Sunday (in both services) will bring glory to You and edify the church. I pray that genuine, heartfelt worship will take place. Jesus, I pray that Northside will become a HOUSE OF PRAYER . That many in our church would be humbled to fall on their faces before you. I pray that those who come searching will see our passionate love for Jesus by our corporate worship.

Rehearse daily, in each child s mind, the truths that have been taught, and cause them to seek You above all else! Father we pray even now for our upcoming VBS (June 2125); that you are preparing the children s hearts so that they will receive You as their Savior. Please bring the workers needed to make this week successful. I pray also for the C3 camp this summer. That many will enroll and that You will work in mighty ways to change lives. STUDENT MINISTRY - Heavenly Father, I pray for our students of Northside, and the Midlands as a whole. God, I pray, that a spirit of unity would rise up amongst students across this area who desire to make a difference for Your name in their schools, homes, and communities. I pray that Northside would be a place where students come, learn the Word of God, and apply it to their lives. Father God, I pray for the students who came to the Silver Ring Thing who made commitments of purity centered in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Father God, I pray that You would keep them strong, that they would be faithful to You, and their commitment. Lord, I pray for the upcoming High School Girls and Guy s retreat that You would hand pick students to go on these trips who desire to grow closer in their walk with You, and learn their Bible and the power of it in their life. Lord, I pray for the upcoming spring break trips- both for the high school, and the middle school- God, I pray that lives would be changed through service, and ministry that week. We pray today for UNITE 2010 that You would prick the hearts of students to sign up, and that lives would be changed that week for the glory of Your Name!! I pray for Mike, and his leadership team, that You would bring among them a sense of unity as they follow the vision You have laid on their hearts. Thank you Lord, You are so amazing, and incredible!! Thank you for loving us!
COLLEGE MINISTRY Father, we continue to pray for students in our colleges. I ask that You give Northside a plan to connect the thousands of college students in the Midlands with the life changing message of Jesus Christ. Raise up leaders to work in our College ministry. Father I pray for our upcoming Beach Reach trip March 6-12. I pray that many of our college students would plan to go and that even now, You are working in the hearts and lives of those with whom our students will share the Gospel. ADULT MINISTRY / LIFEGROUPS Lord, we give praise for new believers who desire to worship You and experience genuine community through our LIFE Group ministry. I pray that our LIFE Groups would develop a passion for reaching the lost. That every LIFE Group would see new believers attending. That we will hunger for the Word of God. I pray that the teachers would teach beyond their own power, in the power of the Holy Spirit. I pray that each LIFE Group would develop a plan to be on mission with God in their Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and to the very ends of the earth. I pray that You would raise up leaders in every LIFE Group to lead this missions effort. I pray that LIFE Group members would invite their unchurched friends and neighbors to High Attendance Day on May 23. Lord help our LIFE Groups be a place where we put into practice the one anothers of scripture. Help us to truly love one another, encourage one another, bear one another s burdens... WOMEN S MINISTRY Father, empower the ladies who teach Bible studies and Life U classes to edify the saints and reach out to other women. I pray for the Anne Graham Lotz women s event in Greenville, SC, March 19-20, Just Give Me Jesus, that it will be well attended and lives will be changed.
PRAY FOR OUR MINISTRIES TO PEOPLE IN ALL AGES AND STAGES OF LIFE
PRESCHOOL MINISTRY We praise you Lord for Your continued blessings and provisions. Thank you Lord for our faithful and loving leadership. Bless them for their service to You and to our families. Thank You for the volunteers and resources that you continue to provide. We pray that You would speak to the heart of Your people and tender their hearts to the needs of Your most precious children. Thank You that all of these who serve in preschool ministry provide a place where children are loved, and feel safe, and accepted. We pray that You would bless the night time egg hunt with the volunteers and resources needed and that there would be a great response from our community. We pray that this would be a great night of fellowship and fun for families and that they would see You in each of us. We pray that those who are looking for a church home would feel welcomed and Lord that You would draw them to Yourself. Lord help us to continue to glorify You in our service and teaching of Your children. Help us to partner with parents as we teach Biblical truths that will build a strong foundation.
CHILDREN S MINISTRY I praise you Father, for Your abundant provision of talented teachers for our first Rotation on God s Work in Progress! Thank You for the excitement that is seen on children s faces each week, and for the positive testimonies that have been heard in the feedback from parents. I thank You for the teachers that You are preparing now for our next rotation on the life of Joshua, as we study the truth that Character Counts. I pray that You bind Satan from the attacks that he places each family on Sunday mornings in an attempt to keep them from the fellowship only found among the body of believers. I pray that You would continue to build the members of Northside into a true family of faith that sees and meets needs through the power and direction of Your Holy Spirit. I pray for each Shepherd and Teacher that will minister to a child through Northside, that You would keep hearts humble, ears open, and
Your Word fresh so that it may be relayed to these young ears in
MUSIC MINISTRY Lord, I pray that you would move in people s hearts to serve in the choir and orchestra so that it can grow and be a blessing to the congregation and glorify You. Help people find ways to get plugged in and serve with their God given talents. Lord, I pray that the upcoming Worship Concert in May (titled Jesus Saves) will be a wonderful night where believers can come together to exalt You and rejoice in Your great salvation! I pray also that your Holy Spirit will draw unbelievers in as the members of our church invite them. May they have an incredible encounter with You and recognize their need for a savior. May it also be a time of renewal and refreshing that will bring Godly conviction to us so that we might be on mission for Christ! Bless everyone involved in the music ministry and all the time they put in to making each Sunday a beautiful time of worship! May we as the church truly grasp what it means to worship You in spirit and in truth. Lord, as those who lead the rest of the congregation before Your throne, may they lead with integrity and character. Help them to use their talents to honor You and to give You their very best. May they never offer to You anything that cost them nothing (2 Samuel 24:24).
RECREATION MINSTRY God, I thank You for all You did during the Upward Basketball & Cheerleading leagues that just completed. I pray that You would continue to work in the lives of those that were a part especially those that don t know Jesus as Lord and Savior. As the Upward Soccer Leagues begin, I ask that You will move in a mighty way to bring those who need You. Bring the needed volunteers so that we will have men and women of Northside to lead and love these children. Bless everyone involved so that Your name would be lifted up and lives would be changed. FIRST IMPRESSIONS MINISTRY God, I thank you for the volunteers that are serving in the first impressions ministry. Lord, I pray that visitors to our church will see the love and grace of Christ and feel welcomed and appreciated. I pray that our church will be united in being part of welcoming those visiting our church and that many will find their place of service in the first impressions ministry. PRAYER MINISTRY Father, I pray that we will fill the remaining slots on the Wall . Give us a heart for prayer. I pray that others will join us for our time of pre-service prayer on Sunday mornings as we pray over the sanctuary and sprung inviting the Holy Spirit to fall on us. I also ask that You would raise up Intercessory Prayer Room warriors as we cover our members in prayer according to their needs.
Father, I pray for: Harvest Hope Food Bank as they seek to help those in need of food. Food From the Heart Saturday, March 27, that many members will be involved in the collection and sorting. HIS International Anne & Aki Nakamura as they minister to international students.
SOUTH CAROLINA & UNITED STATES
Lord, we pray that you will be with our sister churches, Brookland Baptist in West Columbia and Taylors First Baptist in Greer. Mold them into churches you can bless. I pray for the Appalachia Mission Team as they prepare for their trip, June 5-12 and for the churches they will be partnering with: New Heights, Pathfork, Victory and New Beginnings Baptist Churches. Lord be with Johnny Hunt as he leads the Southern Baptist Convention as we prepare for our annual meeting in June. Give him wisdom as he encourages us to fulfill the Great Commission. Be with the North American Mission Board as they search for a new president.
PRAY FOR THE FOLLOWING SPECIFIC NEEDS REGARDING OUR CHURCH:
Father, I pray that You will make us a church of tithers and givers so that we can be under Your blessing and not Your curse. Please help those who are in financial bondage to be set free by our Financial Peace ministry as they learn to apply biblical principles to their lives. Lord, I pray that you would move among our people during our new sermon series on Recovery and break whatever chains of bondage may be in their lives. I pray for unity and clear purpose within our Northside family of faith, that in every step, ultimately You will be glorified and that Your will be done.
UTTERMOST PARTS
Lord, thank you for the godly leadership of Jerry Rankin at the International Mission Board. Bless him as he prepares for retirement and lead us to the man you have prepared to take his place. South Asia Awadhi people Lord, I pray that there will be a great harvest among this people group. Please be with Devaraju, a national pastor, as he works with the team to plant churches to reach the Awadhi people. I pray for those in our church who will be going on the mission trip (March 11-20). Prepare their hearts and minds, even now, for what You have in store for them as they share the Gospel. Moldova Father, I pray that You will raise up and guide those You re calling to go on this trip to reach the many in bondage to religion in this country but who do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ. I pray for Pastor Victor Svet in Telenesti and the ministry that is going on in Moldova. South Carolina Disaster Relief Medical Emergency team in Haiti, that lives will be saved both physically and spiritually.

I praise You for the missionaries, speakers and the commitments made during our Global Missions Celebration! Empower each person to get in the game. I pray for the leaders in each LIFE Group department that You would empower them to lead their departments in implementing a mission playbook or strategy that will guide them to actively be on mission as a department in 2010. I pray for the Share Jesus Without Fear classes that have just begun that You will lead the teams to those who need to hear the gospel.

Father, as we prepare for our Easter Services, I pray that each of us would bring at least one unchurched friend so that we will have over 2000 in attendance. I pray that many would come to Christ, and that God would use the series that Pastor Rocky begins that morning to bring many into the Kingdom. I pray for our one day Revival with Tony Nolan on May 23. Lord, even now start preparing Tony to proclaim the Good News with power. I pray that we will be burdened enough to bring our lost friends, family members, coworkers, and neighbors. That we will have at least 1500 in attendance on Sunday morning and 700 on Sunday evening and more than 50 saved and baptized in this one day event.
