Scott Crede
Associate Pastor of Ministry/Administration

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Colossians 3:17 is one of Scott’s favorite verses; one that he has strived to live by and one that has shaped his life.

It is evident that Scott’s path to his current ministry has definitely been crafted by God. His first Sunday at Northside was April 10, 1988, and he’s been part of the Northside family ever since. As a layman in the church he served as Chairman of the Deacons for four years and Vice-Chairman for two. He was also active as a teacher and director of his Adult Sunday School department and been very involved in the Student and Children’s Ministries as well. Scott’s passion for serving God and for the members of Northside began long before his move to full-time ministry. And in December 2001, after years in a successful career as the Vice President/General Manager of a large corporation, Scott followed God’s call and joined the Northside Staff. With a degree in business from the University of South Carolina, his career experience, and his love and dedication to Northside, God has uniquely equipped Scott to serve in his role of Associate Pastor of Ministry/Administration.

As evident as his love for Christ and for his ministry is Scott’s love for his family. Scott is married to Tracey, and they have two children—Garrett (16) and Jessica (13). As a family the Credes enjoy a host of athletic activities including, tennis, working out, soccer, basketball, football, and just about any Carolina Gamecock sporting event!
